The Lavalleja AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Txomin Valenciano should have stopped the shot. Rocendo Pidrola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gau Vizcarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yader Cuerva having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Gau Vizcarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isusko Ocomardia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txomin Valenciano having to interfere. Ranolfo Valdenebro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Fliz Jove made a great header on Illescas's corner, it was just that Lavalleja AFC's Txomin Valenciano managed to reach the ball for a save. Yader Cuerva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocendo Pidrola in the 45th minute of the match. The Lavalleja AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Illescas were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isusko Ocomardia made a kick off. Illescas were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Lavalleja AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fliz Jove took the corner. Illan Miro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Gau Vizcarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Lavalleja AFC's Gau Vizcarra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yader Cuerva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Yader Cuerva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocendo Pidrola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Txomin Valenciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaizkine Oñate, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 77th play minutes Gau Vizcarra shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Yader Cuerva and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 85th minute, Rocendo Pidrola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Isusko Ocomardia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute.
