In the 5th minute of the match, Estebano Pico got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edelmiro Dorio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estebano Pico got free with Edelmiro Dorio in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edelmiro Dorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Fortea in the 9th minute. Claude Ribacoba charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claude Ribacoba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 minutes Independiente F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Handi Cereceda who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estebano Pico got free with Edelmiro Dorio in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claude Ribacoba kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Handi Cereceda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Dorio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th minute Arixo Trasgallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodio Ponga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Guemez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Claude Ribacoba got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Independiente F.C getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Claude Ribacoba hit a great ball. The supporters of Reboledo booed when Independiente F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Pavieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Dorio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Fortea went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Independiente F.C's Edelmiro Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miro Pradias in the 38th minute of play.

The wind increased when Arixo Trasgallo made the kick off in the second half. Miro Pradias took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Dorio. Edelmiro Dorio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Reboledo's Handi Cereceda got a free kick in the 55th minute. Edelmiro Dorio came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Reboledo's Miro Pradias. But to his dismay, Miro Pradias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Independiente F.C getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Argider Iribarren hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Angelo Fortea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Dorio was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Guemez during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Independiente F.C's Octavio Guemez got a free kick in the 78th minute. Edelmiro Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Fortea in the 83rd minute of the match. Edelmiro Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Quijada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estebano Pico in the 86th minute of play forced Independiente F.C's goalkeeper Edelmiro Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Dorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Fortea in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Independiente F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Guemez to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, Reboledo's Fonso Oreamuno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edelmiro Dorio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Reboledo reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Reboledo fully deserved thier win.
