Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bidun Zayas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flor Rubio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lavalleja's Roegelio Figueruel got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Sotil Bandera made a precise shot to the right of Fidensio Zaldivar. Lavalleja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Walme Merida came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lavalleja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walme Merida couldn't finish the play. Raigon FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Perez Cantalapiedra 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. When Brais Monroy fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raigon FC's protests and gave Brais Monroy a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Raigon FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Brais Monroy hit a great ball. During the 22nd minute of the match Brais Monroy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Brais Monroy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 22 played minutes Raigon FC got a freekick which was hit by Brais Monroy. Perez Cantalapiedra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Oswaldo Coracera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walme Merida in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oswaldo Coracera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Flor Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Perez Cantalapiedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Coracera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perez Cantalapiedra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Oswaldo Coracera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sotil Bandera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Lavalleja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roegelio Figueruel to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Perez Cantalapiedra made the kick off in the second half. Walme Merida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, Raigon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Perez Cantalapiedra came free, but Oswaldo Coracera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eladio Pons was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Raigon FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lavalleja:s goal. Perez Cantalapiedra took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oswaldo Coracera. Oswaldo Coracera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Perez Cantalapiedra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Coracera having to interfere. If Bidun Zayas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Gilesindo Cabezas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Raigon FC booed when Lavalleja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Termiñon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Coracera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perez Cantalapiedra in the 76th minute of play. Lugo Borrero hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Raigon FC defense, Walme Merida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oswaldo Coracera. The Raigon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Coracera should have stopped the shot. Oswaldo Coracera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perez Cantalapiedra in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Bidun Zayas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Raigon FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramos Arzalaga was slow to take the kick. During this time Lavalleja's players had a chance to rest. Lavalleja's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
