The supporters of Casupa FC booed when Reynold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xulio Docio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Laguna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cresenciano Escoto in the 17th minute of play. Feliu Salais might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronaldinho Solarriba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliu Salais ran back to his position shaking his head. Cresenciano Escoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telo Ramirez in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldinho Solarriba saved Casupa FC from getting behind. Reynold's Feliu Salais got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Casupa FC's Constancio Garival got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 45th minute, Amadeo Barrutia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronaldinho Solarriba. The goal made the score 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
