The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game John Roig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falagian's Paublo Mahabe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Corderall Rioboo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaen Cavazos in the 9th minute. Jaen Cavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When John Roig came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ferrer AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Roig couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Falagian's Timoteo Sobejano got a free kick in the 19th minute. Paublo Mahabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gines Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Falagian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isias Motel to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute John Roig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paublo Mahabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gines Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Roig made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ferrer AFC's zone, Jaen Cavazos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corderall Rioboo came out of the goal and Jaen Cavazos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Roig in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paublo Mahabe saved Falagian from getting behind. 64 minutes in the game, Gines Mancebo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Paublo Mahabe having to interfere. Javiar Munguia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Jaen Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corderall Rioboo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Roig in the 73rd minute of play forced Falagian's goalkeeper Paublo Mahabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Chaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paublo Mahabe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Falagian's Isias Motel got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 85 minutes, Timoteo Sobejano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falagian and the Ferrer AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Timoteo Sobejano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Falagian's zone, John Roig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paublo Mahabe came out of the goal and John Roig tried to chip the ball over his head. John Roig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paublo Mahabe having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Argider Aldaeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falagian and the Ferrer AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Argider Aldaeta hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. John Roig struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Paublo Mahabe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferrer AFC. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
