After a defensive mix-up in Ituzaingo FC's zone, Edelmiro Falla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xencio Candelo came out of the goal and Edelmiro Falla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-1 became the score in the 6th minute when Ryan Monterroso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ryan Monterroso struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Mannie Castellana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ituzaingo FC. Edelmiro Falla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Txartiko Ansures managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Txartiko Ansures was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xencio Candelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 17 minutes, Ryan Monterroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ituzaingo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Monterroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 played minutes Ituzaingo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ekain Igual. Edelmiro Falla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ryan Monterroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mannie Castellana was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Ituzaingo FC's Ryan Monterroso got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Guillelmo Covielles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Ituzaingo FC got a freekick which was hit by Eder Herrada. After 44 played minutes Argos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ritchie Peruyera. After the first half Ituzaingo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Txartiko Ansures had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Argos FC's goalkeeper Mannie Castellana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillelmo Covielles. Ituzaingo FC's Xencio Candelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Sirgo in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Argos FC booed when Ituzaingo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximeno Robezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Falla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xencio Candelo having to interfere. Elodio Velon kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Ryan Monterroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillelmo Covielles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mannie Castellana having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Ryan Monterroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mannie Castellana was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Argos FC's Mannie Castellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eder Herrada in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Leheren Secanell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ituzaingo FC the free kick. A collision led to Argos FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Leheren Secanell hit a great ball. Ryan Monterroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Ryan Monterroso took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Mannie Castellana to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd minute, Hector Carabajal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ituzaingo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
