The audience thought a goal was coming when Lluc Hurdinosa got free with Godofredo Bandera in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trinidad AFC's Evaristo Cavazos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iliana Avecilla in the 7th minute of play. Lluc Hurdinosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Polanco hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Leonel Dameda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godofredo Bandera. Zapara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Dameda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Leonel Dameda came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Trinidad AFC fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, Trinidad AFC's Medardo Cistero got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Hustaz Capdevila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evaristo Cavazos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Dameda during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonel Dameda kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Evaristo Cavazos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gotzon Asturiano in the 32nd minute of the match. When Iliana Avecilla came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Zapara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iliana Avecilla couldn't finish the play. Gotzon Asturiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaristo Cavazos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Lluc Hurdinosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Lluc Hurdinosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godofredo Bandera. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Leonel Dameda made the kick off in the second half. Iliana Avecilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Cavazos having to interfere. Leonel Dameda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Godofredo Bandera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iliana Avecilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Cavazos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Trinidad AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
