Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fulgencio Vandoma made the kick off and thus started the match. 9 minutes into the match, Montes's goal looked a bit too open when Urbasa Botbol came free, but Evis Sirguero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Vandoma was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Montes's zone, Urbasa Botbol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evis Sirguero came out of the goal and Urbasa Botbol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evis Sirguero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbasa Botbol, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Montes's Perfecto Fraile got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Vandoma in the 37th minute of play forced Piedras's goalkeeper Bakar Olea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Constantino Bengochea came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Montes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Bengochea couldn't finish the play. Felippe Millano hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Bakar Olea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurentzi Rotges in the 44th minute of play. If Urbasa Botbol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbasa Botbol took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evis Sirguero. Evis Sirguero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half Piedras were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xuaco Piñero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Xuaco Piñero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evis Sirguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baleren Amesquita fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montes's protests and gave Baleren Amesquita a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Montes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! After 72 minutes, Urbasa Botbol made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Montes's Evis Sirguero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Constantino Bengochea struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Bakar Olea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montes. The supporters of Montes booed when Piedras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soin Cerrajeria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xuaco Piñero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evis Sirguero having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Montes! After a defensive mix-up in Montes's zone, Xuaco Piñero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evis Sirguero came out of the goal and Xuaco Piñero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Evis Sirguero managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Piedras's Urbasa Botbol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Constantino Bengochea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piedras's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
