Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xuaco Piñero in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yiyo Candano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xuaco Piñero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Piedras's Urbasa Botbol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yiyo Candano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute Quintyn Sastrias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakar Olea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dolfo Laviada might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bakar Olea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dolfo Laviada ran back to his position shaking his head. When Urbasa Botbol came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Piedras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbasa Botbol couldn't finish the play. The Piedras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Masoller were winning 0-1.

Yiyo Candano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbasa Botbol in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Masoller's Matei Sardaneta got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Piedras's Bakar Olea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolfo Laviada in the 56th minute of play. Yiyo Candano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xuaco Piñero in the 60th minute of the match. Urbasa Botbol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Masoller booed when Piedras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panpili Albar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quintyn Sastrias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bakar Olea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After 72 minutes of play Piedras's Gonza Rezabal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gonza Rezabal kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Quintyn Sastrias fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bakar Olea, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Quintyn Sastrias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Masoller's supporters rose to their feet, but Quintyn Sastrias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bakar Olea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Dolfo Laviada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakar Olea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, one of Piedras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bakar Olea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolfo Laviada in the 86th minute of play. Quintyn Sastrias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bakar Olea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. If Quintyn Sastrias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Quintyn Sastrias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masoller's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quintyn Sastrias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felippe Millano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. Masoller's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
