Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Young AFC's Muno Pinilla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Jakes Vall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llin Magadan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llin Magadan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ostadar Aguirol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakes Vall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Llin Magadan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. If Jakes Vall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakes Vall during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Young AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jakes Vall hit a great ball. Llin Magadan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muno Pinilla in the 35th minute of play. Xinto Escalante took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Llin Magadan. PEÑAROL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roberto Carabia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bazil Arismendi. In the 45th minute, Seme Dalaje fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roberto Carabia, passed just outside the right post. In the 46th minute, Godfredo Natos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Seme Dalaje stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Seme Dalaje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Jakes Vall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakes Vall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakes Vall got free with Llin Magadan in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th match minute, Young AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferman Manes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Young AFC booed when PEÑAROL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Benvide didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Cornelio Picado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Carabia skillfully saved the ball. In the 90th minute, Seme Dalaje ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Carabia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Patrido Alcazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Roberto Carabia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
