The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Perez Carana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Puigdellivol having to interfere. Xulio Larrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Natalio Puigdellivol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Benegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Formerio Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Xulio Larrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Formerio Jaen in the 15th minute of play forced Tiatocura's goalkeeper Fabio Benegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xulio Larrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itapebi's Natalio Puigdellivol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perez Carana in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Perez Carana notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Itapebi's Natalio Puigdellivol. Natalio Puigdellivol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerazan Goxenola might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Benegas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerazan Goxenola ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute of the match Christobal Ibias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Puigdellivol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xulio Larrea succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The supporters of Tiatocura booed when Itapebi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faro Lloreda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perez Carana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodosio Rallo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Xulio Larrea made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tiatocura's Urtun Valera got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Iturri Ocomardia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Formerio Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapebi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Formerio Jaen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gerazan Goxenola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Formerio Jaen in the 64th minute of play forced Tiatocura's goalkeeper Fabio Benegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Puigdellivol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xulio Larrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Natalio Puigdellivol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiatocura. Faro Lloreda kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Itapebi's goal looked a bit too open when Urtun Valera came free, but Natalio Puigdellivol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
