Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Solbeida started the match with the kick off. Ireno Laredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Solbeida in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Bela Ciencabrero came free, but Dominic Laboy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bela Ciencabrero in the 10th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Dominic Laboy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Vergaray Ollacuria. Martino Galnares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominic Laboy came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Savago's Diegotxe Olmeda. But to his dismay, Diegotxe Olmeda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 48th minute, Alfredo Solbeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bela Ciencabrero to strike the kick off in the second half. Aquilino Guazo's late challenge caught a Savago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Guazo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Aquilino Guazo hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Diegotxe Olmeda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vergaray Ollacuria charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vergaray Ollacuria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Vergaray Ollacuria. Real Madrid's Dominic Laboy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diegotxe Olmeda in the 64th minute of play. Dominic Laboy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bela Ciencabrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Martino Galnares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dominic Laboy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pacorro Horduña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Demesio Endaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dominic Laboy. Real Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demesio Endaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Alfredo Solbeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Solbeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ireno Laredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blai Castaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Xuan Viado. Dominic Laboy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bela Ciencabrero's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Alfredo Solbeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Solbeida in the 96th minute of play forced Savago's goalkeeper Ireno Laredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Madrid were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
