The supporters of Savago booed when Cufre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xalvador Cabalar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Dulce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bela Ciencabrero in the 7th minute of play. Ireno Laredo was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Xuan Armenteros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xuan Armenteros really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 23rd minute Diegotxe Olmeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Dulce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bela Ciencabrero in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Dulce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siro Alcala kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xuan Armenteros in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ireno Laredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cufre's Tomas Dulce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diegotxe Olmeda in the 44th minute of play. Bela Ciencabrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tomas Dulce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xuan Armenteros was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuan Armenteros in the 55th minute of play forced Savago's goalkeeper Ireno Laredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Savago's goal looked a bit too open when Xalvador Cabalar came free, but Ireno Laredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xalvador Cabalar during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Cufre got a freekick which was hit by Xuan Armenteros. Diegotxe Olmeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tomas Dulce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xuan Armenteros took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ireno Laredo. Ireno Laredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Savago's zone, Mannie Rendain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ireno Laredo came out of the goal and Mannie Rendain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Savago's Ireno Laredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuan Armenteros in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Savago players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cufre.
