Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Echevarria's Gonza Villacian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Echevarria's Amado Gabaldon got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonza Villacian in the 9th minute of play forced MATRACA F.C.'s goalkeeper Hulberto Cañucar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hulberto Cañucar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonza Villacian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Gabaldon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to MATRACA F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Haroldo Pando hit a great ball. After 14 minutes of play MATRACA F.C.'s Haroldo Pando was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Echevarria booed when MATRACA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Pando didn't get a good kick on the ball. If David Crujeiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hulberto Cañucar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Gabaldon in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pitin Domaquia got free with Roano Carcamo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Amado Gabaldon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, David Crujeiras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echevarria's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Crujeiras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Cristian Morros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MATRACA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echevarria the free kick. MATRACA F.C.'s Hulberto Cañucar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Gabaldon in the 29th minute of play. Amado Gabaldon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulberto Cañucar having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Gonza Villacian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MATRACA F.C.'s Hulberto Cañucar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amado Gabaldon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hulberto Cañucar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hulberto Cañucar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Crujeiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Gonza Villacian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Echevarria's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonza Villacian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hulberto Cañucar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guter Escalada kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MATRACA F.C.'s zone, Amado Gabaldon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hulberto Cañucar came out of the goal and Amado Gabaldon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pitin Domaquia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Gonza Villacian got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gonza Villacian spun around in front of the goal 71 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of MATRACA F.C.'s goal. Gonza Villacian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hulberto Cañucar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Echevarria's Gonza Villacian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hulberto Cañucar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of MATRACA F.C. booed when Echevarria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hever Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Eduardo Cisneros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Echevarria were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after MATRACA F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Amileta took the corner. The corner ended in Jose Amileta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MATRACA F.C.'s Hulberto Cañucar did a great save. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Echevarria! After 95 played minutes Echevarria got a freekick which was hit by David Crujeiras. 98 minutes into the match, MATRACA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gonza Villacian came free, but Hulberto Cañucar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
