Fresco Oropeza's late challenge caught a Centro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fresco Oropeza helped the player get up and apologised. Fresco Oropeza hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, MATRACA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Txartiko Carral came free, but Hulberto Cañucar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, MATRACA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fresco Oropeza to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duardo Cañon couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as MATRACA F.C.'s Delfino Bolaños slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Haimar Casielles. That made the score 1-1 after 47 minutes of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Morros to make the kick off. Duardo Cañon in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hulberto Cañucar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 54 minutes, Txartiko Carral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Txartiko Carral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Txartiko Carral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hulberto Cañucar came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Centro's Duardo Cañon. But to his dismay, Duardo Cañon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Txartiko Carral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hulberto Cañucar. That made the score 1-3 in the 64 minute of play. Txartiko Carral charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Txartiko Carral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Txartiko Carral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfino Bolaños in the 71st minute of play forced Centro's goalkeeper Haimar Casielles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Duardo Cañon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The supporters of MATRACA F.C. booed when Centro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duardo Cañon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hulberto Cañucar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Txartiko Carral in the 84th minute. Duardo Cañon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulberto Cañucar having to interfere. In the 88th minute Txartiko Carral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hulberto Cañucar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arixo Ardazun kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Txartiko Carral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duardo Cañon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
