But to his dismay, Inocente Villaciergo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Charqueada's Elias Estebanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Tubia in the 16th minute of play. Carlo Tubia scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Estebanez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laurin Orejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elixio Carasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Zigor Riguera came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Piedras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zigor Riguera couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elixio Carasa in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurin Orejo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inocente Villaciergo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Elias Estebanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inocente Villaciergo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Estebanez having to interfere. Carlo Tubia struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Elias Estebanez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piedras FC. In the 44th minute, Inocente Villaciergo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Estebanez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Inocente Villaciergo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piedras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocente Villaciergo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Estebanez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Carlo Tubia notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Charqueada's Elias Estebanez. Elias Estebanez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Lecea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurin Orejo having to interfere. If Inocente Villaciergo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Felipo Esqueda threw the ball into play from the sideline. Piedras FC's Zigor Riguera quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Piedras FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Merexildo Gualda hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Tubia in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Charqueada's zone, Carlo Tubia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Estebanez came out of the goal and Carlo Tubia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocente Villaciergo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Estebanez having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Piedras FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Charqueada.
