Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Videl Pombo kicked off to start the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Videl Pombo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progreso AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Videl Pombo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Vicheadero defense, Leandro Indart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Agudiez. The Vicheadero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Agudiez should have stopped the shot. Ambrosio Somarriba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Polo Uruñuela came out and tried to block the shot, but Ambrosio Somarriba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. Leandro Indart scored 1-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Agudiez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Rogelio Barbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polo Uruñuela was a little too slow when Ambrosio Somarriba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-2. If Ambrosio Somarriba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Barbera hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Gelmiro Helguero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Polo Uruñuela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stanislao Lodeña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Polo Uruñuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ambrosio Somarriba made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Progreso AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Somarriba came free, but Polo Uruñuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Videl Pombo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferdinand Agudiez came out and tried to block the shot, but Videl Pombo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 60th minute. In the 68th minute Videl Pombo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Agudiez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vicheadero booed when Progreso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Escapa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Leandro Indart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progreso AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Indart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Agudiez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogelio Barbera kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Videl Pombo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ferdinand Agudiez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Progreso AFC. Stanislao Lodeña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Polo Uruñuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98thth minute of the game Ambrosio Somarriba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progreso AFC's Polo Uruñuela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Progreso AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
