When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jacob Azcoitia took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Orkatz Carcedo to make any attempt to save it. In the 18th minute Jacob Azcoitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orkatz Carcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orgoroso AFC's goalkeeper Orkatz Carcedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jacob Azcoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orgoroso AFC's Orkatz Carcedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Azcoitia in the 30th minute of play. Aaron Quexada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iban Godinez having to interfere. Gutierrre Barrios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Orkatz Carcedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iban Godinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gergori Tagle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacob Azcoitia to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Quexada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iban Godinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Artigas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gergori Tagle came free, but Iban Godinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artigas AFC's Jacob Azcoitia got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Quexada got free with Iban Godinez in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Artigas AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gutierrre Barrios hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Aaron Quexada made a precise shot to the right of Iban Godinez. Artigas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 87 minutes into the game, Octavio Acebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Artigas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orgoroso AFC the free kick. Octavio Acebal hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes Artigas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Otsando Riego. After 95 minutes, Milio Rivadeneira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orgoroso AFC and the Artigas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Artigas AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Orgoroso AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Orgoroso AFC.
