The supporters of Canitas FC booed when Artigas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Acebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Artigas AFC's goalkeeper Iban Godinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dominix Virues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Iban Godinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inaki Farre in the 43rd minute. If Dominix Virues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacob Azcoitia was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Canitas FC's Benedicto Herro got control of the ball when Hibai Posada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hibai Posada succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. With an all-out effort, Artigas AFC's Benedicto Herro threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacob Azcoitia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Udalaitz Ferragudo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hibai Posada got free with Benedicto Herro in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Artigas AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
