Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Estevam Paradelo started the match with the kick off. Indalecio Aldana spun around in front of the goal 6 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Salto's goal. Brion Mojon hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zapara's zone, Serafin Angulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loreto Termiñon came out of the goal and Serafin Angulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estevam Paradelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Angulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loreto Termiñon having to interfere. Estevam Paradelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sazon Salceda hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Salto's Gaueko Tormes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Pedro Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Goito Zuazna made a huge save. Herensuge Lorden hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Pedro Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Goito Zuazna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. Salto's Goito Zuazna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Salto from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Indalecio Aldana to strike the kick off in the second half. Loreto Termiñon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotil Zubieta in the 53rd minute of play. Estevam Paradelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loreto Termiñon having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Perutxo Montez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zapara and the Salto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Indalecio Aldana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Goito Zuazna was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Salto's Goito Zuazna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indalecio Aldana in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Salto's goal looked a bit too open when Indalecio Aldana came free, but Goito Zuazna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salto's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
