The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Platon Laviada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Sosa's Quintan Velilla threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anier Finez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A nice corner shot did that Sol Villagomez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Quintan Velilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Goiz Ingla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintan Velilla having to interfere. A collision led to Ahogados AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Orti Tene hit a great ball. Sosa:s Gonzo Bozo showed great skill when he stopped Laurin Galnares:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Ahogados AFC's Diagur Juarbe got a free kick in the 27th minute. Quintan Velilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Finez in the 30th minute of play. Izotz Larena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gonzo Bozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helder Monje's late challenge caught a Ahogados AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Helder Monje helped the player get up and apologised. 44 minutes into the match, Platon Laviada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzo Bozo. Sosa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Platon Laviada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Finez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner ended in Sol Villagomez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ahogados AFC's Quintan Velilla did a great save. In the 56thth minute of the game Goiz Ingla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ahogados AFC's Quintan Velilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Izotz Larena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Cerrajeria kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Izotz Larena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gonzo Bozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sosa's Gonzo Bozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Platon Laviada in the 66th minute of play. Quintan Velilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Finez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Sosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarell Cotilla to maneuver through the defense. Sosa's Gonzo Bozo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Sosa from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Ahogados AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sosa throughout the match.
