Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Merinos FC's Havier Pino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kimetz Intriago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Havier Pino, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Gonzo Fauria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oton Presa having to interfere. Merinos FC's Oton Presa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzo Fauria in the 7th minute of play. Lavalleja AFC's Kimetz Intriago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Lavalleja AFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzo Fauria in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oton Presa saved Merinos FC from getting behind. Kimetz Intriago came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Merinos FC's Havier Pino. But to his dismay, Havier Pino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Havier Pino in the 28th minute of play forced Lavalleja AFC's goalkeeper Kimetz Intriago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geofredo Runs's late challenge caught a Merinos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geofredo Runs helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Lavalleja AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geofredo Runs to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lavalleja AFC's Vincente Tejeido got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Merinos FC's Havier Pino got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavalleja AFC's goalkeeper Kimetz Intriago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venerando Pubill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kimetz Intriago having to interfere. Venerando Pubill in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kimetz Intriago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 41 minutes into the match, Modestio Vedeja dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kimetz Intriago, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Gonzo Fauria made the kick off in the second half. Venerando Pubill struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Kimetz Intriago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merinos FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venerando Pubill in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kimetz Intriago saved Lavalleja AFC from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Lavalleja AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Venerando Pubill came free, but Kimetz Intriago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merinos FC's Oton Presa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Merinos FC from getting a goal against them. Modestio Vedeja charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modestio Vedeja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Merinos FC got a freekick which was hit by Modestio Vedeja. Andrea Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 70th minute when Gonzo Fauria elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gonzo Fauria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oton Presa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Merinos FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Modestio Vedeja hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzo Fauria in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oton Presa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venerando Pubill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kimetz Intriago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Lavalleja AFC's Gonzo Fauria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oton Presa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vincente Tejeido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kimetz Intriago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venerando Pubill in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Modestio Vedeja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kimetz Intriago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merinos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
