Oliviero Santa started the match with the kick off. Su Luina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliviero Santa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Libertad AFC booed when Ahogados AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitor Tejeria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Libertad AFC's zone, Oliviero Santa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Su Luina came out of the goal and Oliviero Santa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th match minute, Libertad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Barbero to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Ahogados AFC's Vitor Tejeria broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Ahogados AFC booed when Libertad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahogados AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitor Tejeria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Abelardo Barzurqueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Libertad AFC's Abelardo Barzurqueta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sesuldo Soldevila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Libertad AFC's Su Luina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Precioso Biniambres in the 39th minute of play. Su Luina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliviero Santa in the 40th minute of the match. Abelardo Barzurqueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sesuldo Soldevila having to interfere. When Caton Mestas fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ahogados AFC's protests and gave Caton Mestas a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Ahogados AFC got a freekick which was hit by Caton Mestas. A collision led to Libertad AFC getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Bahiano Bolaños hit a great ball.

In the 56th minute Libertad AFC were awarded a corner. Tolino Ciencabrero went to the cornerflag to take it. Sesuldo Soldevila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Hormilla in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Libertad AFC's goalkeeper Su Luina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Precioso Biniambres. Ahogados AFC's Sesuldo Soldevila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Barzurqueta in the 64th minute of play. Oliviero Santa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Su Luina having to interfere. Leizarraga Marcello hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Ahogados AFC's Vitor Tejeria broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Dionisio Hormilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Libertad AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahogados AFC the free kick. The supporters of Ahogados AFC booed when Libertad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Hormilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Precioso Biniambres struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Su Luina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahogados AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dantae Nuño during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Dantae Nuño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Precioso Biniambres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Libertad AFC's Dionisio Hormilla got a free kick in the 91st minute. A hard shot 93 in the game by Precioso Biniambres from a close distance when the talented Su Luina managed to make a qualified save. Libertad AFC's players were relieved. In the 96th match minute, Ahogados AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beremundo Olivencia to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
