Fidel Villalobos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Sesuldo Soldevila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maldonado FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Meendez Cachupin during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Fidel Villalobos took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sesuldo Soldevila to make any attempt to save it. 81 minutes into the match, Maldonado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oliviero Santa came free, but Jaen Aspurua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Fidel Villalobos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ahogados AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliviero Santa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Fidel Villalobos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sesuldo Soldevila. The goal made the score 0-3. The Ahogados AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maldonado FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Maldonado FC.
