Gardel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Merodo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sesuldo Soldevila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rius Lavandera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Precioso Biniambres in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ahogados AFC's Precioso Biniambres got a free kick in the 17th minute. Iruinea Larren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iruinea Larren in the 22nd minute of play forced Ahogados AFC's goalkeeper Sesuldo Soldevila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Oliviero Santa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ahogados AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliviero Santa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Beremundo Olivencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Sesuldo Soldevila managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Gardel FC's Ciro Merodo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ciro Merodo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Sesuldo Soldevila made a huge save. Sesuldo Soldevila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Merodo in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ciro Merodo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gardel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Merodo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beremundo Olivencia kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Iruinea Larren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gardel FC booed when Ahogados AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Solarriba didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliviero Santa was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Gardel FC's goalkeeper Rius Lavandera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Precioso Biniambres. In the 53rd minute, one of Gardel FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gardel FC. After 55 minutes of play, Ahogados AFC's Vitor Tejeria made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rius Lavandera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciro Merodo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rius Lavandera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliviero Santa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ahogados AFC's Vitor Tejeria got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Iruinea Larren struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Sesuldo Soldevila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gardel FC. If Aznaro Garate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Oliviero Santa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rius Lavandera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iruinea Larren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sesuldo Soldevila having to interfere. Sesuldo Soldevila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Merodo in the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Ahogados AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Iruinea Larren came free, but Sesuldo Soldevila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gardel FC's Iruinea Larren got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sesuldo Soldevila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Merodo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Beremundo Olivencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Ciro Merodo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ahogados AFC's Sesuldo Soldevila. Sesuldo Soldevila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
