In the 24th minute, Sansone Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Aldecoa's zone, Liberto Villaren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepito Alves came out of the goal and Liberto Villaren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rufio Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufio Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepito Alves having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Eufemio Lorza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araujo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aldecoa the free kick. After 36 played minutes Araujo got a freekick which was hit by Eufemio Lorza. If Quirze Cospedal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Aldecoa's goal looked a bit too open when Rufio Montel came free, but Pepito Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eufemio Lorza kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gaudencio Osa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quirze Cospedal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Roegelio Zubieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Osa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Quirze Cospedal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roegelio Zubieta in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Osa saved Araujo from getting behind.
