Azibar Cadorniga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Toledo AFC's zone, Olando Portas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azibar Cadorniga came out of the goal and Olando Portas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olando Portas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Olando Portas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Azibar Cadorniga made a huge save. With a little luck, Toledo AFC's Azibar Cadorniga got control of the ball when Olando Portas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jaunti Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azibar Cadorniga came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Curtina FC's Olando Portas. But to his dismay, Olando Portas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Toledo AFC's Jaunti Mendoza got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Jaunti Mendoza got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Toledo AFC. 31 minutes into the match, Curtina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaunti Mendoza came free, but Vladimiro Alamon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Curtina FC's Atarratze Pereda got a free kick in the 31st minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Sengrat Vadillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toledo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sengrat Vadillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimiro Alamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sengrat Vadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toledo AFC's goalkeeper Azibar Cadorniga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emilio Montalban charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Montalban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Toledo AFC's Emilio Montalban got a free kick in the 37th minute. Olando Portas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Azibar Cadorniga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paz Constante made a kick off. With a little luck, Curtina FC's Vladimiro Alamon got control of the ball when Jaunti Mendoza tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jaunti Mendoza came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Toledo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaunti Mendoza couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Toledo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paz Constante came free, but Azibar Cadorniga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olando Portas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Vladimiro Alamon managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Toledo AFC's Jaunti Mendoza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vladimiro Alamon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sengrat Vadillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olando Portas struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Azibar Cadorniga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curtina FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olando Portas in the 72nd minute of play forced Toledo AFC's goalkeeper Azibar Cadorniga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toledo AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
