Zuhaitz Cobarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azibar Cadorniga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Toledo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurre Giraldez. Teobaldo Bueres kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Cardal AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Francho Linde hit a great ball. Xzaiver Alonzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sengrat Vadillo in the 15th minute. Sengrat Vadillo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Xzaiver Alonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toledo AFC. In the 18th minute, Enol Cucho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cardal AFC's Xzaiver Alonzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cardal AFC from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Toledo AFC's Sengrat Vadillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xzaiver Alonzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Cardal AFC's Xzaiver Alonzo got control of the ball when Sengrat Vadillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Viviano Arnaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azibar Cadorniga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viviano Arnaiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Toledo AFC booed when Cardal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viviano Arnaiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Mateo Orruma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toledo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Toledo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Belarmo Saes was slow to take the kick. During this time Cardal AFC's players had a chance to rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viviano Arnaiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Zuhaitz Cobarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zuhaitz Cobarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azibar Cadorniga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Azibar Cadorniga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viviano Arnaiz in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toledo AFC's goalkeeper Azibar Cadorniga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sengrat Vadillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xzaiver Alonzo having to interfere. If Sengrat Vadillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sadurni Pino during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cardal AFC's Sadurni Pino got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Egun Amarita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Viviano Arnaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Toledo AFC's Mateo Orruma got a free kick in the 90th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Cardal AFC's Belarmo Saes tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Zuhaitz Cobarrubias made a precise shot to the right of Azibar Cadorniga. Toledo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
