Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isaias Zubieta started the match with the kick off. Sixto Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bernardo Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Orixe Escalante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaueko Manteca in the 10th minute of play. Sixto Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th match minute, Sanchez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elazar Virues to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Illescas in the 20th minute of play forced Echeverry AFC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Selatse Orive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abaurre having to interfere. Bernardo Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35thth minute of the game Isaias Zubieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Echeverry AFC's Bernardo Abaurre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Echeverry AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Zubieta came free, but Bernardo Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orixe Escalante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selatse Orive in the 41st minute. Sanchez AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Gaueko Manteca scored to the left of an out of position Orixe Escalante, making the score, 1-0. Selatse Orive sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 53 minutes, Isaias Zubieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanchez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Zubieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute Isaias Zubieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hustaz Mollinedo's late challenge caught a Echeverry AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hustaz Mollinedo helped the player get up and apologised. Hustaz Mollinedo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Echeverry AFC's Gaueko Manteca got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sanchez AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Hustaz Mollinedo hit a great ball. Selatse Orive's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orixe Escalante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Ysmael Zumista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanchez AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echeverry AFC the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Sanchez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysmael Zumista to maneuver through the defense. Selatse Orive received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Orixe Escalante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selatse Orive scored 2-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orixe Escalante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Selatse Orive struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Orixe Escalante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Echeverry AFC. Gaueko Manteca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Echeverry AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sanchez AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
