Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sanchez AFC's Isaias Zubieta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sanchez AFC's Orixe Escalante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduino Esquivias in the 10th minute of play. Diego Carbajo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduino Esquivias in the 15th minute of play forced Sanchez AFC's goalkeeper Orixe Escalante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Diego Carbajo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanchez AFC's Orixe Escalante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Eduino Esquivias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orixe Escalante. Sanchez AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduino Esquivias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 20 played minutes Potencia FC got a freekick which was hit by Donzel Reynoso. Andy Oquerruri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixto Illescas in the 22nd minute. Sanchez AFC's Isaias Zubieta got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andy Oquerruri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Zubieta in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Potencia FC's Donzel Reynoso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Diego Carbajo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orixe Escalante was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Orixe Escalante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduino Esquivias in the 41st minute of the match. Sixto Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Andy Oquerruri made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Carbajo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sanchez AFC's Rojelio Santianes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Eduino Esquivias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee gave Sanchez AFC a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maore Deleon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Potencia FC's Andy Oquerruri. 1-3. Eduino Esquivias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maureo Jate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orixe Escalante. Sanchez AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Orixe Escalante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Carbajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rojelio Santianes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes, Potencia FC's Maureo Jate shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orixe Escalante came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Potencia FC reached it. Donzel Reynoso kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Potencia FC's Andy Oquerruri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Zubieta in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Potencia FC booed when Sanchez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hustaz Mollinedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Carbajo had several of the Sanchez AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Orixe Escalante as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Diego Carbajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Oquerruri having to make a save. A collision led to Potencia FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Benvide Amestoy hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Zubieta in the 88th minute of play forced Potencia FC's goalkeeper Andy Oquerruri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potencia FC's Andy Oquerruri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Illescas in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Donzel Reynoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orixe Escalante made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Eduino Esquivias sent off a good shot on target. The Potencia FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Potencia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
