Gotzon Aguileta hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Chumo Rasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Garizabal in the 12th minute of play. Norino Lastras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Garizabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chumo Rasa having to interfere. If Paulo Docanado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute of the match Nataniel Arnedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurendi Verga skillfully saved the ball. Norino Lastras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chumo Rasa having to interfere. With a little luck, Palmitas's Laurendi Verga got control of the ball when Paulo Docanado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palmitas's Laurendi Verga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Nobo in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Braulio Nobo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Migues FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Karlos Viaña hit a great ball. Chumo Rasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Garizabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Paulo Docanado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Migues FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Docanado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurendi Verga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Nobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Laurendi Verga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Braulio Nobo sped through Palmitas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laurendi Verga. If Arturo Garizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Migues FC got a freekick which was hit by Gotzon Aguileta. 80 minutes into the match, Migues FC's goalkeeper Chumo Rasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norino Lastras. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norino Lastras in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chumo Rasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Braulio Nobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurendi Verga having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Paulo Docanado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurendi Verga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Laurendi Verga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Docanado, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Migues FC's Braulio Nobo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Migues FC had won after a very even match.
