Bixintxo Sereno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Patxi Contera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Toledo FC's Cai Zamanillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dani Rugama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manolo Agado kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Chacarita's Mikelar Pachistre tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cilio Ocariz in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patxi Contera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chacarita's Dani Rugama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Castulo Marzana in the 15th minute of play. Dani Rugama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Castulo Marzana in the 17th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Cai Zamanillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Nobal during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Franco Nobal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Castulo Marzana in the 26th minute of play forced Chacarita's goalkeeper Dani Rugama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Cilio Ocariz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patxi Contera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cilio Ocariz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Chacarita booed when Toledo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolo Agado didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cai Zamanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patxi Contera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bixintxo Sereno in the 40th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Castulo Marzana made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Castulo Marzana notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chacarita's Dani Rugama. Dani Rugama was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Castulo Marzana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manolo Agado kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Erubiel Orejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Chacarita's goal looked a bit too open when Castulo Marzana came free, but Dani Rugama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Pacorro Agusto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toledo FC and the Chacarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chacarita's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 83rd minute of the game, when Franco Nobal after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Toledo FC's goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
