Rufo Pipa lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Federacion AFC a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baiarte Aras, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kiyu FC's Bernardo Lanzon. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Gabirel Monterinos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Lanzon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 29 minutes, Baiarte Aras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Federacion AFC and the Kiyu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Federacion AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Baiarte Aras hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Fe Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Lanzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mendebal Olabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Federacion AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Fe Salgado hit a great ball. Bernardo Lanzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonchan Mendibuey in the 42nd minute of the match. Kiyu FC's Bernardo Lanzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Cuero in the 47th minute of play. The Kiyu FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Federacion AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mendebal Olabe was the one to do the kick off. Baiarte Aras got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Bernard Cuero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernard Cuero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Lanzon having to interfere. If Mendebal Olabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Cuero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Lanzon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, one of Federacion AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Federacion AFC. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Kiyu FC. Dolfos Soria stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gora Rivas. 1-2. In the 84th match minute, Kiyu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Sobron to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Loco Ibias in the 86th minute really tested Bernardo Lanzon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bernard Cuero in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardo Lanzon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bernard Cuero came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bernardo Lanzon could save by the left post.
