Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Canelones FC's Anaya Capistrano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, one of Canelones FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience was convinced that Damian Arostegui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabino Calvillo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Aroztegui in the 12th minute of play forced Canelones FC's goalkeeper Isauro Bermejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Canelones FC's Raebert Golpe got a free kick in the 15th minute. Palomas FC's Gaur Castaneda shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isauro Bermejo but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anaya Capistrano in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabino Calvillo saved Palomas FC from getting behind. Eder Sena hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Palomas FC's Victor Aroztegui ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isauro Bermejo. Isauro Bermejo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Palomas FC booed when Canelones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raebert Golpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaur Castaneda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Aroztegui was the one to do the kick off. Palomas FC's Bernaldo Enao got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, one of Canelones FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Canelones FC. The referee gave Palomas FC a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaur Castaneda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canelones FC's Isauro Bermejo. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernaldo Enao in the 64th minute of play forced Canelones FC's goalkeeper Isauro Bermejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Damian Arostegui made a precise shot to the right of Sabino Calvillo. Palomas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 73 minutes into the game, one of Palomas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eder Sena walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 78 minutes into the match, Canelones FC's Damian Arostegui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabino Calvillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Canelones FC defense, Bernaldo Enao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isauro Bermejo. The Canelones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isauro Bermejo should have stopped the shot. Damian Arostegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sabino Calvillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Arostegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Javier Ruicerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canelones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palomas FC the free kick. 93 minutes into the game, one of Canelones FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Isauro Bermejo went to the wrong direction when Gaur Castaneda was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Victor Aroztegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Isauro Bermejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Aroztegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 102nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palomas FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
