After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Porfiro Sevilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durazno FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Porfiro Sevilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseba Ibarlucea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palben Jacome in the 27th minute of play forced Durazno FC's goalkeeper Ourente Carradelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porfiro Sevilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joseba Ibarlucea having to make a save. Joseba Ibarlucea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Porfiro Sevilla in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Valentines's Gonzo Rojica got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Andre Cue struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Joseba Ibarlucea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durazno FC. Andre Cue might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joseba Ibarlucea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andre Cue ran back to his position shaking his head. Porfiro Sevilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Palben Jacome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Valentines's Joseba Ibarlucea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porfiro Sevilla in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Valentines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Doles to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes, Durazno FC's Higinio Leis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joseba Ibarlucea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Durazno FC reached it. Txilar Elberdin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's goalkeeper Ourente Carradelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silviano Argudo. After a rather tough play, Valentines's Telmo Morua got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Joseba Ibarlucea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Cue, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Valentines's Kevin Doles got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Valentines's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Cue came free, but Joseba Ibarlucea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviano Argudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
