If Gaur Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Porongos AFC booed when Union AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txordon Ybarbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Porongos AFC's Gaur Melo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quexal Velo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quexal Velo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelmiro Franques in the 26th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Humberto Charro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Berbiz Camino to make any attempt to save it. 43 minutes into the game, Iruinea Samaniego was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porongos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Porongos AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty!

The wind increased when Gelmiro Franques made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game, Gelmiro Franques fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Quexal Velo having to interfere. With a little luck, Union AFC's Quexal Velo got control of the ball when Gaur Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Humberto Charro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Berbiz Camino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Loriga in the 63rd minute of the match. Union AFC's Quexal Velo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Union AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Porongos AFC's Gelmiro Franques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Quexal Velo. Quexal Velo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Gaur Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Quexal Velo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gelmiro Franques in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quexal Velo saved Union AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Porongos AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gaur Melo hit a great ball. Gaur Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Quexal Velo made a huge save. Gaur Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Quexal Velo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Quexal Velo managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Porongos AFC's Gaur Melo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Union AFC's Urdin Anderica got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Union AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gaur Melo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Gaur Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
