Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bemabe Lariz took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Montevideo F.C.'s Palban Gallardo in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Union AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute of the match Montae Rubiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tauro Gamones skillfully saved the ball. Ismael Planes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Montevideo F.C.'s Juan Lena was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Humberto Charro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Union AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo F.C. the free kick. Quexal Velo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Lena in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Union AFC's goalkeeper Quexal Velo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Montevideo F.C.'s Palban Gallardo got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Charro was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Palban Gallardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palban Gallardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Quexal Velo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Lena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quexal Velo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palban Gallardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Palban Gallardo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Lena in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quexal Velo saved Union AFC from getting behind. 54 minutes into the game, Urdin Anderica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Union AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Montevideo F.C. booed when Union AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urdin Anderica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Loriga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montevideo F.C.'s Palban Gallardo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quexal Velo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lena in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Palban Gallardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montevideo F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Palban Gallardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quexal Velo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quexal Velo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palban Gallardo in the 78th minute of the match. Juan Lena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quexal Velo having to interfere. Quexal Velo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palban Gallardo in the 81st minute of play. Naldo Gallego charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Naldo Gallego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Naldo Gallego hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Lena in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quexal Velo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Montevideo F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
