Artilleros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Izotz Machicao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ubendu Iranzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artilleros's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubendu Iranzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cibran Docio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ubendu Iranzo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Artilleros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubendu Iranzo couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Carqueja FC's Cibran Docio got control of the ball when Juango Unzueta tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Heitor Monterros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juango Unzueta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 28th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ubendu Iranzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cibran Docio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th match minute, Artilleros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelito Arrascarate to maneuver through the defense. Xaven Rosal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Lujan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Izotz Machicao kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimo Villasuso in the 79th minute of play forced Artilleros's goalkeeper Xaven Rosal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heitor Monterros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Xaven Rosal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heitor Monterros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xaven Rosal having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Artilleros fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carqueja FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
