Dimo Villasuso ran back to his position shaking his head. Heitor Monterros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Desire Astete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desire Astete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimo Villasuso, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Dimo Villasuso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Clis Giumill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute Conciliacion were awarded a corner. Tadeo Fuenmayor went to the cornerflag to take it. Dimo Villasuso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Senen Portera to make the kick off. The supporters of Conciliacion booed when Carqueja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Calisto Paliza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carqueja FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conciliacion the free kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
