After 32 played minutes, Tacuarembo AFC's Xefe Solache shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaudencio Zaldua came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tacuarembo AFC reached it. Gaudencio Zaldua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quique Bonilla in the 34th minute of the match. If Quique Bonilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Beliran Barma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beliran Barma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quique Bonilla in the 44th minute of play forced Guerrero FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Zaldua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dionisio Corredera made the kick off in the second half. Bernaldo Zugarrondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Corredera in the 58th minute of the match. Bernaldo Zugarrondo came out of the goal and Beliran Barma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jakue Gandarillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, one of Guerrero FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guerrero FC. Xefe Solache shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Quique Bonilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Zaldua having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Tacuarembo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillerme Errazquin to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Corredera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernaldo Zugarrondo having to interfere. Bernaldo Zugarrondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beliran Barma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernaldo Zugarrondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beliran Barma in the 89th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Tacuarembo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Corredera came free, but Bernaldo Zugarrondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
