Itzaina Lombillo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Manguera FC's Adolfo Escalante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santxo Zuriarrain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Manguera FC's Itzaina Lombillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santxo Zuriarrain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Obeko Murieta came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Itapeby AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Obeko Murieta couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Obeko Murieta in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Obeko Murieta in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodoveo Melgar saved Manguera FC from getting behind. Clodoveo Melgar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obeko Murieta in the 21st minute of the match. Santxo Zuriarrain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Itzaina Lombillo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Itapeby AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Itzaina Lombillo came free, but Santxo Zuriarrain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Obeko Murieta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Adolfo Escalante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santxo Zuriarrain was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 59 minutes into the match, Itapeby AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Itzaina Lombillo came free, but Santxo Zuriarrain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Manguera FC's Clodoveo Melgar got control of the ball when Basajaun Tiagonce tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obeko Murieta in the 61st minute of play forced Manguera FC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Melgar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes, Eron Barrueta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manguera FC and the Itapeby AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Obeko Murieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Melgar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Escalante in the 68th minute of play forced Itapeby AFC's goalkeeper Santxo Zuriarrain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Itzaina Lombillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Itapeby AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Itzaina Lombillo came free, but Santxo Zuriarrain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Manguera FC booed when Itapeby AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dodorol Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Itapeby AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Itzaina Lombillo came free, but Santxo Zuriarrain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Escalante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santxo Zuriarrain was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Itapeby AFC's Obeko Murieta got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Obeko Murieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Melgar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Obeko Murieta in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodoveo Melgar saved Manguera FC from getting behind.
