Denis Helguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Cabezudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Helguera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zunbeltz Cebollero, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zunbeltz Cebollero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hurko Valmaseda hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Zunbeltz Cebollero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Clodio Caseda fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charqueada FC's protests and gave Clodio Caseda a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Charqueada FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodio Caseda. A collision led to Cuaro getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Manuel Cabezudo hit a great ball. Bernardo Heyros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Charqueada FC's Clodio Caseda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Zunbeltz Cebollero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Charqueada FC's Denis Helguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Cabezudo in the 53rd minute of play. If Manuel Cabezudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodio Caseda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pero Sopena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Cuaro's Pero Sopena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Heyros in the 66th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Cuaro's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Heyros came free, but Pero Sopena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Charqueada FC's Bernardo Heyros in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Firmo Irabien hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Zunbeltz Cebollero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Denis Helguera. That made the score 1-2 in the 88 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cuaro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
