Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Atlantida's Pagomari Mencia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Vazquez AFC's Baumer Canive slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chorche Zucunza. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Inarraza in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peio Nanclares saved Vazquez AFC from getting behind. In the 10th minute Pagomari Mencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peio Nanclares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pagomari Mencia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Danilo Inarraza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pagomari Mencia struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Peio Nanclares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlantida. The supporters of Vazquez AFC booed when Atlantida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xanti Loriga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baumer Canive sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baumer Canive fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chorche Zucunza having to interfere. Vazquez AFC's Peio Nanclares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pagomari Mencia in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Atlantida's goal looked a bit too open when Baumer Canive came free, but Chorche Zucunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Baumer Canive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Danilo Inarraza made a precise shot to the right of Peio Nanclares. Vazquez AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ceferino Belmonte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Baumer Canive managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vazquez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baumer Canive was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baumer Canive was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Belmonte in the 51st minute of play forced Atlantida's goalkeeper Chorche Zucunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Inarraza got free with Peio Nanclares in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the game, Vazquez AFC's Ceferino Belmonte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chorche Zucunza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Pagomari Mencia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Ceferino Belmonte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vazquez AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlantida's Pagomari Mencia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peio Nanclares. That made the score 3-2 after 74 minutes of play. Chorche Zucunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Belmonte, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Baumer Canive fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chorche Zucunza having to interfere. Pagomari Mencia might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peio Nanclares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pagomari Mencia ran back to his position shaking his head. When Vazquez AFC's Baumer Canive in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlantida's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlantida players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vazquez AFC.
