Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Cris Cuevas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 4 minutes, Estevon Gaiztarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vicheadero FC and the Polanco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cris Cuevas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Vicheadero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Pison came free, but Cris Cuevas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Pison to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rios Caicedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polanco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mogel Uria during the 55th minute. Cris Cuevas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Pison, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rios Caicedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cris Cuevas having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Benvide Aponte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rios Caicedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cris Cuevas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Vicheadero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Pison came free, but Cris Cuevas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lando Peñin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asier Oyardo was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Lando Peñin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lando Peñin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Martin Pison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cris Cuevas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicheadero FC's Cris Cuevas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rios Caicedo in the 91st minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Rios Caicedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vicheadero FC's Cris Cuevas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
