To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baumer Canive received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cris Cuevas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Vazquez AFC's Peio Nanclares got control of the ball when Matro Illanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ceferino Belmonte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aimar Espuga fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vicheadero FC's protests and gave Aimar Espuga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Aimar Espuga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Belmonte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cris Cuevas having to interfere. Cris Cuevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baumer Canive in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Vicheadero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baumer Canive came free, but Cris Cuevas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cris Cuevas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceferino Belmonte went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, Gaueko Bardon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vazquez AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vicheadero FC the free kick. Gaueko Bardon kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Gaueko Bardon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Vazquez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Belmonte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceferino Belmonte scored 0-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cris Cuevas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peio Nanclares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benvide Aponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Vazquez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baumer Canive to maneuver through the defense. Cris Cuevas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 95 minutes, Ceferino Belmonte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Vazquez AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
