Matro Illanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Chorche Zucunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pagomari Mencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Hegoi Armentia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cris Cuevas. Vicheadero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hegoi Armentia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Matro Illanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Chorche Zucunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lando Peñin in the 53rd minute of the match. Hegoi Armentia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cris Cuevas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegoi Armentia in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Lando Peñin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chorche Zucunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegoi Armentia in the 73rd minute of play forced Vicheadero FC's goalkeeper Cris Cuevas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lando Peñin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Matro Illanes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chorche Zucunza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 80 minutes, Hegoi Armentia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Matro Illanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vicheadero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matro Illanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chorche Zucunza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lando Peñin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Matro Illanes made a precise shot to the right of Chorche Zucunza. Atlantida's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
