Sauce's Gonzalo Rosio got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Mauricio got free with Bieito Ricote in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Mauricio took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bieito Ricote. Bieito Ricote dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Nestor Mauricio got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 23rd match minute before Bieito Ricote had time to react. Nestor Mauricio struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bieito Ricote didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauce. In the 29th minute, Maturrango AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nestor Mauricio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nestor Mauricio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Bieito Ricote skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bieito Ricote made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Mauricio in the 32nd minute. Belasko Echandi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sauce's Quirze Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tauro Laso in the 36th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tauro Laso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quirze Rubio was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Maturrango AFC's zone, Nestor Mauricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bieito Ricote came out of the goal and Nestor Mauricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Sauce's Gonzalo Rosio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bieito Ricote narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Misael Valenciaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Mauricio in the 51st minute of play forced Maturrango AFC's goalkeeper Bieito Ricote to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nel Ustoa during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Maturrango AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nel Ustoa to maneuver through the defense. In the 62ndth minute of the game Nestor Mauricio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maturrango AFC's Bieito Ricote was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bieito Ricote showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuban Labra, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Nestor Mauricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nestor Mauricio came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sauce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Mauricio couldn't finish the play. Maturrango AFC's Bieito Ricote played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Mauricio in the 87th minute of play. Xuban Labra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sauce's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
