Gonzalo Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Mauricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Freddy Bildosteguy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Velasquez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pere Zaldain. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Nestor Mauricio put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Freddy Bildosteguy. Nestor Mauricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Nestor Mauricio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Bildosteguy. Velasquez AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Mauricio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of Sauce booed when Velasquez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nafarroa Maseda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Velasquez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Mauricio came free, but Freddy Bildosteguy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Mauricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velasquez AFC's goalkeeper Freddy Bildosteguy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonzalo Rosio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddy Bildosteguy having to make a save. Gonzalo Rosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Bildosteguy having to interfere. If Nestor Mauricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Mauricio got free with Freddy Bildosteguy in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Nestor Mauricio in the 99th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Freddy Bildosteguy kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Sauce's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
