Nalo Figueiras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hulberto Tejero's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The Merinos AFC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Merinos AFC's Hulberto Tejero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Merinos AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Servando Limon hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Merinos AFC's goalkeeper Paulin Maximino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Meder Golpe. Nalo Figueiras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulberto Tejero, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Hulberto Tejero scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nalo Figueiras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hulberto Tejero got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of The Incredible Fat Team booed when Merinos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hulberto Tejero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulin Maximino didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Karlo Barreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heitor Boces made a kick off. Nalo Figueiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chucho Limiñana in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Karlo Barreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merinos AFC's Paulin Maximino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute of the match The Incredible Fat Team got a corner. Merinos AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Meder Golpe ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led The Incredible Fat Team's Meder Golpe to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulin Maximino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mauro Candana kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Lalo Proenza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merinos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Incredible Fat Team the free kick. After 78 played minutes Merinos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lalo Proenza. Juan Santibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Paulin Maximino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Heitor Boces ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulin Maximino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The Incredible Fat Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
