In the 3rd minute, Cleto Oyaga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Saturnin Lavin, passed just outside the right post. Cleto Oyaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute of the match Honorato Vilalta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermelando Ascargorta skillfully saved the ball. Lander Elizalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermelando Ascargorta having to interfere. The supporters of Rocha FC booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Casillas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Oyaga struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Saturnin Lavin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional. If Blanco Chirivoga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iigo Sigüenza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Rocha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Oyaga came free, but Saturnin Lavin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional's zone, Lander Elizalde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermelando Ascargorta came out of the goal and Lander Elizalde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iigo Sigüenza scored 1-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnin Lavin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillerme Baelo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rocha FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tiago Berrondo hit a great ball. Rocha FC's Saturnin Lavin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Oyaga in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blanco Chirivoga to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Guillerme Baelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rocha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional the free kick. Ortle Dimas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Iigo Sigüenza notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rocha FC's Saturnin Lavin. Saturnin Lavin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bembe Lando charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bembe Lando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Bembe Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nacional's Bembe Lando got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Bembe Lando off the ground. The referee gave Rocha FC a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Inacio Tebar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nacional's Hermelando Ascargorta. 2-1. In the 81st minute, Lander Elizalde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saturnin Lavin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iigo Sigüenza, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Iigo Sigüenza made a precise shot to the right of Saturnin Lavin. Rocha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 97 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Chirivoga came free, but Hermelando Ascargorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
